Our Terms & ConditionsPayment: A £20 deposit is required to be paid upon booking; Please ensure boarding fees are paid in full when dropping your pets off.
All deposits are non-refundable or transferable should you decide to cancel for any reason. Once dates have been booked and a deposit paid they are your secured dates, any changes afterwards would incur an amendment fee and cannot be guaranteed as new dates might be unavailable. We accept cash payments only at the moment but are hoping to setup a paypal card payment system soon. Opening Times: We are open for drop off and collection of pets Monday to Friday 9.30am until 11.00am and then 5pm until 6pm Saturday 9.30am until 10.30am then from 5pm until 6pm. We are closed on Sundays We are open all year round although at Christmas and other bank holidays we are not open for drop off or collection of pets. Bank Holidays: Lindsey's Little Lodgers is not open to check-in or collect pets on Festive/Religious days and any Bank Holidays. Pets boarding with us over these periods must be checked-in or collected before or after these specific dates. Bank Holidays and festive dates: we will not double our prices, we charge the same daily flat rate throughout the year! Check in and Collection: Upon check in we require all boarding fees to be settled therefore if owners decide to collect pets before the stated collection date boarding fees are non-refundable. Cancellation: Cancellation of bookings within 7 days of the check-in date will incur a fee, this is 25% of the balance remaining as it doesn't give enough time to reallocate the accommodation booked. This does only apply if a booking is cancelled with 7 days or less. Cancellations if made well within time do not incur any charges. If cancellations are within 48 hours of arrival then full payment of boarding fees are due as we would have turned many people away for the space especially if during our busiest times as it will be impossible to fill with such short notice. If you do not cancel your booking and do not turn up for your check in date then the full balance of your booking is due and an invoice will be sent to you for the full balance. If you make a booking for example 7 nights then we have allocated a hutch for that time period. If for any reason you change your mind and decide to drop your pet a day later and collect earlier then the full booking cost quoted will still be charged. If you are running late to collect your pets you must contact me as pets are all ready and waiting for their collection time in their pet carriers, so I do not want them sat waiting unnecessarily. If for any reason you cannot make collection and wish to collect the following day then an extra day will be charged. Non-collection: We reserve the right to re home pets if not collected within 14 days of the stated departure date and if there is no communication from the owner and efforts to contact the owner fail. Food: For specific dietary requirements please ensure you supply us with your pet’s daily dry mix upon arrival, sufficient for your rabbit or guinea pig’s stay. Shared Hutches: Rabbits and /or guinea pigs sharing a hutch, which begin displaying signs of aggression or sexual harassment toward each other, may be separated at our discretion for the safety, health and well being of the animals. If we feel the need to separate pets sharing a hutch, a relevant charge for extra boarding accommodation will be applied. Vaccinations: We do not accept rabbits for boarding unless they are fully vaccinated against Myxomatosis and Viral Haemorrhagic Disease (VHD), RVHD2. This should be given 2 weeks prior to arrival to make sure they have full immunity and any signs of illness due to vaccination can be picked up by owner beforehand should it ever occur. . We require proof of vaccinations in the form of valid and up-to-date certificates, which must be produced prior to check-in. If you do not provide proof of vaccinations we reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time. We require a period of two weeks to lapse between a rabbit’s vaccinations and check-in to take account of a possible allergic reaction to the drugs. Guinea pigs do not require any specific vaccinations. Illness and Medication: At the time of boarding with us, if your pet is under veterinary care and receiving medication for non-contagious medical conditions (we are unable to accept pets for boarding with ringworm due to how contagious it is), we are happy to assist in your pet’s medical care by administering prescribed drugs on your behalf (there is a small fee for this as more work required than a bunny who does not need medication) Please ensure you provide sufficient medication for the duration of your pets stay with us and we will require a signed consent form. We should be notified of this prior to arrival and not at check in. The health and well being of each pet boarded at Lindsey's Little Lodgers is extremely important to us, therefore we reserve the right at all times to refuse boarding to any animal showing signs of injury and or ill health who is NOT in receipt of veterinary treatment. We also reserve the right not to accept animals with contagious diseases (this includes ringworm). Illness, Emergencies and Veterinary Fees: Under any circumstances should your pets, at any time require emergency medical treatment or veterinary assistance for any health condition existing prior to boarding or occurring during boarding. Lindsey's Little Lodgers will ensure your pet receives immediate veterinary attention and we will instruct our local vet. Vet fees, which accrue and remain outstanding upon collection of pets are entirely the responsibility of the owner. Death: Whilst every possible attention is given to your pets health, safety and welfare, in the event of a death occurring we will, in accordance with your wishes, if stated verbally or written contact you to make suitable arrangements. If we are unsuccessful in contacting you, we will act at our discretion. Boarding fees are non-refundable in the event of death of a pet. Please note all pets boarding at Lindsey's Little Lodgers are left completely at the owners risk and Lindsey's Little Lodgers accept no responsibility whatsoever should your pets become ill or a death occur. |
